How Trackfolio handles the household data families trust us to keep organized.

Trackfolio helps homeschool families keep attendance, grades, assignments, proof of learning, and school-year records organized in one place. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
What we collect
- Account details like name and email address
- Billing details needed to manage subscriptions
- Household, child, subject, attendance, and grade records you choose to enter
- Photos, documents, and work samples you upload as evidence
How we use it
We use your information to operate Trackfolio, keep your household records organized and in sync, provide support, improve the product, and fulfill legal or billing obligations.
Third-party providers
We use trusted providers for authentication, billing, infrastructure, analytics, and storage. They only receive the information needed to perform those services for Trackfolio.
Children's privacy
Trackfolio is designed for parents and guardians. Household account owners may add and manage records about their children, including schoolwork, attendance, grades, portfolios, and related learning information. We do not knowingly offer standalone accounts for children.
Retention and deletion
We retain data while your account is active and for limited periods after cancellation when needed for recovery, legal obligations, or requested exports. You can contact us about deletion requests.
Cookies and usage data
We may collect device, browser, log, and usage information, and use cookies or similar technologies to keep you signed in, understand product performance, and improve the service.
Your choices
You can request access to, export of, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us at hello@trackfolio.io. Some information may be retained as required for legal, security, billing, or backup purposes.
AI features
Parts of Trackfolio use AI to help organize and surface information from your records. AI features process your data only within your household account and are designed to support, not replace, your own recordkeeping decisions.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use strong passwords and keep your account credentials private.
Updates to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page.
